Pathway to Leadership
The success of the MetroTex Association of REALTORS® is attributed to dedicated volunteers who lead the association. However, the ability to lead is not developed overnight. Our pathway to leadership provides several opportunities to hone your skills, grow your network, and build your legacy as a leader at the local, state, and national level.
Roadmap to Leadership
The Roadmap to Leadership includes educational and practical components meant to help MetroTex REALTORS® members learn how they can impact the association and real estate industry in meaningful ways. Opportunities for a member to develop the necessary skills to positively influence the association include:
- Applying for the MetroTex Mentor Program
- Participating in their local Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program (TRLP)
- Getting involved with a MetroTex Committee
Guide to Association Involvement
The Guide to Association Involvement is a course intended to give MetroTex REALTORS® members an in-depth view of the organization, how decisions are made, and how to get involved. We hope you learn from the resources that will be discussed, and that you take advantage of the opportunity you have been afforded to increase your participation at the state and national level.
MetroTex Mentor Program
The MetroTex Mentor Program matches a member seeking future leadership involvement with a seasoned leader who has experience and expertise that is directly relevant to the interests of the applicant. We are committed to making meaningful and relevant mentor/mentee matches.
Join a MetroTex Committee
MetroTex offers many opportunities for members to get involved by serving on an association committee. Committee service allows you the opportunity to make new contacts, enhance your professional abilities and make a difference from behind the scenes.
