Cindy Baas, Baas Realty

Cindy Baas has been a Texas REALTOR® for 20 years, earning her broker’s license in 2017. She has guided sellers, buyers, renters, and investors through every market, driven by a deep commitment to listening to her clients and the dedication to master the communities she serves.

Cindy is also passionate about giving back to the profession. For 13 years, she has taught agents through brokerages, associations, title companies and Texas REALTORS®, equipping them to excel and better serve their clients. She serves on numerous local, state, and national real estate boards and committees, advocating for private property rights, homeownership, and the vitality of the real estate industry.

Continuing to serve keeps Cindy fully engaged in the work ahead — collaborating to protect our industry, advance our profession, and position MetroTex Association of REALTORS® as the definitive real estate authority in North Texas.

Todd Bingham, Willow Real Estate

Todd Bingham has been a MetroTex REALTOR® for 22 years and is the broker and owner of Willow Real Estate. His experience spans residential real estate, property management, brokerage operations, agent development, and continuing education. As an instructor, Todd has taught thousands of REALTORS®, giving him firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities members face at every stage of their careers.

 

Todd serves as a Director of Texas REALTORS® and currently chairs MetroTex’s Volunteer Leadership Development Committee and the TREPAC Bylaws Committee. He also serves as a TREPAC Trustee and on Professional Development committees for MetroTex, Texas REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. His previous service includes chairing MetroTex’s Professional Development Committee and serving on NAR’s Conventional Financing and Policy and Federal Technology Policy committees. He is a graduate of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program and a Texas RPAC Hall of Fame member.

Todd holds numerous professional designations, including CRS, CRB, GRI, ABR®, SRS, RENE, e-PRO®, and AHWD. His professional recognition includes Best of D Magazine, Fort Worth Magazine Top Agent, DFW Top 500 Agents, and a feature in Texas Monthly.

Todd brings a distinctly member-focused approach to leadership. He is committed to listening, collaborating, and ensuring MetroTex delivers meaningful value through education, advocacy, and practical support. A passionate advocate for community service, Todd supports Meals on Wheels and has been recognized by NAR as a Good Neighbor for his dedicated service.

I’m starting my 7th year in real estate currently. I am honored to have served as a MetroTex Director for 4 years. I also currently serve on the Government Affairs committee, MLS Committee, and the Community Outreach Committee. It the past I have served as Chair and Vice Chair of Government Affairs, and have served on the TREPAC Committee, YPN Committee, Legislative Committee, and as an area representative for Hopkins County Realtor Meetings. I also currently serve as a director with Texas REALTORS®.

Joni Freeman, JL Marsaw & Co.

Joni Freeman is the Founder and Principal Broker of JL Marsaw & Co., an independent brokerage serving clients across the DFW, Houston, and Atlanta markets since 2015. Her practice spans residential and commercial real estate and she holds a suite of industry designations (ABR, SRS, PSA, SFR, New Home Co-Broker) reflecting her commitment to specialized, client-first service.

Joni currently serves on the Texas REALTORS® Board of Directors (2026–2027) and is a graduate of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program (2025). Her MetroTex involvement includes chairing the MetroTex Young Professionals Network (YPN) in 2026, after serving as Vice Chair from 2024–2025, and serving on the MetroTex Investment, Budget & Finance Committee (2024–2026). She previously served on the MetroTex Professional Development Advisory Group (2024).

Joni brings a unique cross-disciplinary perspective as a licensed pharmacist (PharmD, Xavier University of Louisiana), where her clinical training sharpened a disciplined, data-driven approach to decision-making that she now applies to real estate strategy and client guidance. She has also mentored emerging entrepreneurs through the NASDAQ Entrepreneurial Center’s Milestone Circles Program.

As an independent broker building outside the traditional large-brokerage model, Joni has seen firsthand the shifts taking place in our industry’s landscape. Joni believes all brokerages and agents need a strong association that understands their pain points and partners with them to overcome them. With those considerations in mind, her mission on the Board is to help ensure MetroTex continues to be a strong asset and community leader for its members for years to come.

Ginger Gill, Ebby Halliday, REALTORS®

A licensed Texas REALTOR® since 2003, Ginger Gill brings over two decades of expertise to her roles as an Agent, a Sales Leader and Broker of Record. Her unique background in Clinical Child Psychology provides her with a sophisticated advantage in negotiation and conflict resolution, allowing her to approach complex real estate transactions with a solution-oriented and empathetic mindset.

Ginger is deeply committed to high-level governance and industry advocacy. Jeff Hickey, Keller Williams Urban Dallas

Jeff Hickey is a licensed real estate agent and a technology and product executive with 30+ years of enterprise leadership experience, paired with hands-on immersion in residential real estate. Jeff currently serves as Vice President of Technology & Innovation for the GO Network at Keller Williams, the largest brokerage group in the Keller Williams system, spanning 13 Market Centers across three states and 4,000+ agents. Jeff has led enterprise application strategy development and delivery, co-designed an AI-enabled off-market listings platform that achieved 29% adoption and generated $1B+ in listings within nine months, and built an agent operations platform adopted by 39% of agents in under six months.

Jeff maintains a dual-lens perspective to real estate technology: 8+ years as a licensed REALTOR® paired with three decades of enterprise technology leadership at the Director, VP, and CTO level across real estate, financial services, and healthcare. Jeff currently is serving his second term as a Director on the MetroTex MLS Board of Directors and is a member of its Opportunities & Innovation Committee. Jeff is also a founding member of F.O.R.E. (Future of Real Estate), a network of 56 real estate broker-owners spanning 124 Market Centers and 30,000+ agents nationwide.

Jeff is driven by the conviction that technology should serve as a force-multiplier, not a replacement, for the real estate agent. Jeff’s eager to bring brokerage experience, MLS experience and enterprise technology strategy to help guide MetroTex forward.

Mike Mansfield, The Mansfield Group

I am a licensed real estate broker with more than four decades of experience in residential and commercial transactions across North Texas. Based in Plano, I have built my career on representing clients with integrity, market knowledge, and a strong understanding of the evolving real estate landscape.

My involvement with MetroTex includes board service, past service as Government Affairs Chairman, and active participation in advocacy efforts that support private property rights and a strong real estate market. I currently serve as a Federal Political Coordinator, working with congressional leadership on issues affecting REALTORS® and our communities. I have also served on numerous boards and commissions across Dallas and Collin County, contributing to policy discussions on growth, development, and housing.

Collin College has been a long-time client, and I have had the opportunity to serve both previously and currently on the college’s bond committee, supporting strategic planning and community investment initiatives.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to elevating professional standards, strengthening member engagement, and advancing thoughtful, pro-growth policy. I am motivated to serve on the MetroTex Board of Directors to help guide the organization through an evolving market and policy environment, and to ensure continued strong advocacy and value for its members.

Michelle Ozymy, Keller Williams Realty DPR

Michelle Ozymy brings more than 20 years of real estate experience to her service on the MetroTex Board of Directors. A Broker Associate and Co-Team Leader of Knob & Key Realty, powered by the Keller Williams GO Network, she is consistently a top producer in Dallas–Fort Worth. But her deepest commitment is to the agents around her—helping other REALTORS® build durable, thriving businesses.

As Vice President of Development for KW Midtown/Urban Dallas, Michelle leads recruiting, coaching, and agent development alongside her husband, Alan Simonton. She mentors agents at every stage, from newly licensed to seasoned producers, grounded in her belief that a strong REALTOR® community begins with well-supported professionals. She also founded Michelle Ozymy Coaching to mentor women in business and real estate, and is pursuing a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology to deepen her understanding of leadership and performance.

Within MetroTex, Michelle has served on the Budget and Finance Committee and the Professional Development Committee for the past two years, and she led the Oak Lawn/Park Cities Area REALTOR® Meeting for three years. She also serves as President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Dallas.

She is drawn to Board service because MetroTex’s strength lies in its members. She hopes to advance professional standards, protect private property rights, and ensure the association continues equipping agents to thrive in a changing market—bringing her leadership experience, passion for agent development, and commitment to service to the work.

David Schnitzer, ASCEND Commercial RE

David Schnitzer, CCIM, is a partner at ASCEND Commercial Real Estate in Dallas, where he has spent more than two decades brokering retail, land, and investment properties. He is also an investor, with a portfolio of retail shopping centers and residential land across North Texas.

As the 2023 Global President of The CCIM Institute, David represented its 13,000 members worldwide. His priorities were practical ones: expanding member benefits and managing a multimillion-dollar budget that balanced the organization’s needs with the needs and desires of the members.

The industry has recognized his dedication as well. David has been named a Power Broker multiple times by D CEO and a Heavy Hitter by the Dallas Business Journal, and his firm, ASCEND, has been recognized as one of Dallas–Fort Worth’s top commercial brokerages by the Dallas Business Journal. He earned his CCIM designation in 2008 and is a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.

In addition to his membership with MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, David currently serves on major committees for Texas REALTORS®, teaches real estate courses, and is frequently called on to speak about the industry.

Derek Westley, RE/MAX Preferred Associates

Derek Westley is a premier D/FW real estate Broker renowned for his integrity, tech-forward strategies, and unmatched contract expertise. Since relocating his practice from New Orleans to Dallas in 2006, Derek has become a prominent leader within the local real estate community and now manages a RE/MAX office in Cedar Hill.  His extensive leadership history includes the following memberships/participation:
