This fall, MetroTex is offering the complete Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist (TACS) series in person, making it easy to complete all three required courses before the curriculum changes in 2027.
Build Your Commercial Foundation
The TACS certification is designed for REALTORS® who are new to commercial real estate or making the transition from residential. Each course builds practical knowledge and real-world skills, helping you understand commercial transactions, property development, marketing, and negotiation with greater confidence.
At MetroTex, you’ll learn from Texas REALTORS® Senior Instructors Michica Guillory and Ginger Unger, who bring years of commercial experience to the classroom.
Complete the Entire Series This Fall
MetroTex is offering the full certification sequence:
- TACS 1: Introduction to Commercial Real Estate (Aug. 17, 18, 20 & 21)
- TACS 2: CRE Property Development (Sept. 17, 18, 21 & 22)
- TACS 3: CRE Marketing & Negotiation (Oct. 15, 16, 19 & 20)
With all three courses scheduled consecutively, it’s easy to stay on track and complete the entire curriculum before year-end.
Complete the Current Curriculum Before It Changes
The current TACS curriculum ends December 31, 2026. REALTORS® who complete all three current courses by then will still be able to apply for their TACS certification in 2027 under the existing requirements.
Beginning January 1, 2027, a new three-course curriculum takes effect. Completing the full series this fall allows you to finish under the current program without waiting for the updated curriculum.
