Contract Course Requirement Just Around the Corner
Effective Feb. 1, sales agents and brokers will be required to complete three hours of coursework on the subject of real estate contracts.
This coursework is part of the 18 hours of continuing education required to renew a license. TREC made the announcement in August and issued a reminder last week. TREC has updated the education history portion of the license holder search tool to show subject areas for courses, helping license holders determine if a course counts towards elective credit, contracts, Legal Update I and II or Broker Responsibility.
