Add Your Brand to NAR’s Consumer Guides

A buyer has questions about earnest money. A seller wants to understand concessions. You’ve talked through the details, but it helps to leave them with something they can revisit.

NAR’s Consumer Guide series gives you one-page resources to share with buyers, sellers and homeowners. You can also customize the guides with your company logo, photo and contact information, putting your name alongside information your clients need.

Customize a Guide in a Few Steps

The guides are available as PDF or image downloads, with customizable PDF and PowerPoint versions for adding your branding.

  1. Choose your topic. Visit NAR’s Consumer Guides and open the guide you want to share.
  2. Download a customizable version. Select the customizable PDF or PowerPoint file.
  3. Add your information. Fill in the designated fields and insert your headshot and company logo.
  4. Save your finished guide. Save the customized PDF to your computer. If you’re using PowerPoint, NAR recommends saving as a PDF and selecting “Best for printing.”

NAR’s customization instructions walk you through both formats with screenshots.

Find a Guide for the Conversation

The series covers everything from preparing to buy a first home to protecting a property from fraud. A few places to start:

  • Working with an agent: Written buyer agreements, listing agreements and questions to ask when choosing a REALTOR®.
  • Buying a home: Financing, earnest money, inspections, appraisals and the steps between signing and closing.
  • Selling a home: Pricing, preparing for showings, seller concessions and navigating multiple offers.
  • Owning a home: Insurance, property taxes, home maintenance and fraud prevention.

Choose a guide that connects to the conversation you’re already having. A first-time buyer may appreciate an overview of the purchase process, while a seller getting ready to list may find a pricing or staging guide more useful.

Put the Guides to Work

Include a relevant guide in a buyer consultation or listing packet. Attach one to a follow-up email after discussing a client’s question. Share a timely topic in your newsletter, or send a homeownership resource to past clients as a reason to check in.

Start with two or three topics that come up often in your business. Customize those guides and keep them ready for your next conversation.
