Governor Abbott Appoints MetroTex Member To Real Estate Research Advisory Committee

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Kristi Davis, broker/owner of Kristi Davis Realty to the Real Estate Research Advisory Committee. The Committee reviews and approves proposals submitted to the board of directors of the Texas A&M University System relating to staffing and general policies of the Real Estate Center.

Davis has held a real estate license for over two decades. She has chaired numerous committees at MetroTex and has served on the MetroTex Board of Directors. On the state and national level Davis is a member of the Texas REALTORS® Board of Directors and has served on the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors. She is also on the North Texas Real Estate Information Services Board of Directors, and a member of the Texas Real Estate Teachers Associations. Additionally, she is a former member of the Irving Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors. Davis received a Bachelor of Art in Journalism from the University of North Texas.

Also appointed to the committee were Harry Gibbs of Georgetown, Troy Alley of De Soto, and Patrick Geddes of Celina.
