MetroTex Offices Closed for Juneteenth

MetroTex offices will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. We’ll reopen Monday, June 22, ready to support you.

During the closure, members can still access After-Hours Support and key online resources for MLS, Supra, forms, and other essential tools.

Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865, when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and enforced the freedom of enslaved people more than two years after President Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.

Rooted in Texas history, Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality. Today, it remains the longest-running African American holiday and officially became a federal holiday in 2021.

As we observe this meaningful day, we encourage you to take time to reflect, learn, and honor its significance. To explore more, visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Wishing you a meaningful and reflective Juneteenth.
