Registration Policy
To help us provide the best member experience possible we encourage you to register for a class or event at least 48 hours in advance. Early registration allows us to plan appropriately for space, materials, and your participation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that schedules change, and you may need to cancel your registration.

• If you need to cancel your registration, you may receive a full refund as long as the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class or event.
• You cannot transfer your registration to another individual for any classes or events. You may, however, transfer your registration to a future date that the same course is being offered.
• If MetroTex cancels a class or event you are registered for, you may receive a full refund or transfer your registration to the rescheduled or new date if it is being offered.

No-Show Policy
MetroTex is proud to offer complimentary classes and events as part of your member benefits. However, significant planning and resources go into each session. If you fail to attend a complimentary class or event that you are registered for and did not cancel at least 48 hours in advance, a $25 no show fee will be billed to your account.

Childcare Policy
To maintain a professional and distraction-free learning environment, children under the age of 18 will not be permitted at any MetroTex course, event, class or program, whether accompanied by a parent or guardian or not.

CE Credit
To receive Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) Continuing Education (CE) or Salesperson Apprentice Education (SAE) credit hours MetroTex, students must meet all applicable attendance and conduct requirements outlined below:

In-Person Classroom Courses

1. Arrive before the scheduled start time and be prepared to check in. You will need to present a valid photo ID, such as a Driver’s License
2. Students must have paid for the course (if applicable).
3. Students must be present for the entire course. Students who arrive late or leave early will not be awarded CE credit.
4. Students must accurately complete the TREC “Continuing Education Course Completion Roster” before leaving the classroom with your name, signature, and 7-digit license number.
5. MetroTex reserves the right to void or withhold credit if a student: 1) does not meet the attendance requirements, including arrival after the official start of class, 2) is disruptive or distracting during the course, and/or 3) does not return from scheduled breaks in a timely manner.

Virtual (Remote) Courses

1. Students must join the course on time and be present with their cameras on for the full duration of the course.
2. Present a valid photo ID at check-in for all courses.
3. Students must have paid for the course (if applicable).
4. Refrain from driving or engaging in other activities that distract from class participation. CE credit will not be awarded if a student is observed driving at any time during the session.
5. MetroTex reserves the right to void or withhold credit if a student: 1) does not meet the attendance requirements, including arrival after the official start of class, 2) is disruptive or distracting during the course, and/or 3) does not return from scheduled breaks in a timely manner.
6. Maintain appropriate conduct, as expected in an in-person classroom, including remaining stationary, giving full attention to the class and avoiding work on unrelated tasks or projects during class.

Forms of Payment Accepted

MetroTex accepts all major credit and debit cards (Master Card, Visa, Discover, Amex) and payment via TeleCheck. Cash and personal checks are not accepted.

Application and Setup Fees

Application and/or setup fees are charged to any new members or to members returning after one full calendar year billing cycle without membership or services.

Application and/or set up fees are not refundable.

Annual Membership Dues

Annual membership dues for National Association of REALTORS®, Texas REALTORS®, and the MetroTex Association of REALTORS® are due each year on December 31st. Members are responsible for ensuring payment by the deadline, regardless of whether an e-bill was received. On January 1, access for any unpaid memberships will be suspended, and a $25 late fee will be applied to the account. Reinstating members are not eligible for any proration or waiver of membership dues.

Annual membership dues are not refundable.

Quarterly Supra Key Service Fees

Quarterly Key Service Fees are due quarterly on December 31, March 31, June 30 and September 30 each year. Subscribers are responsible for ensuring payment by the deadline, regardless of whether an e-bill was received. On January 2, April 1, July 1, and October 1, respectively, access for any unpaid subscriptions will be suspended, and a $25 late fee will be assessed per subscriber. Reinstating subscribers are not eligible for any proration or waiver of fees.

Quarterly key service fees are not refundable.

Quarterly MLS Subscriber Fees

MLS subscription fees are due quarterly on December 31, March 31, June 30, and September 30. Subscribers are responsible for ensuring payment by the deadline, regardless of whether an e-bill was received. On January 2, April 1, July 1, and October 1, respectively, access for any unpaid subscriptions will be suspended, and a $25 late fee will be assessed per subscriber. Reinstating subscribers are not eligible for any proration or waiver of subscription fees.

MLS Subscription fees are not refundable except under the following circumstance:

If you have paid your MLS subscriber fees to MetroTex, and within the same quarter transfer your MLS services to another North Texas Real Estate Information Systems, Inc. (NTREIS) provider before the 15th of the month, MetroTex will refund the fee for that month and any months remaining in the quarter.

Quarterly Crexi Commercial Data Listing Fees

Commercial listing subscription fees are due quarterly on December 31, March 31, June 30 and September 30. Subscribers are responsible for ensuring payment by the deadline, regardless of whether an e-bill was received. On January 2, April 1, July 1 and October 1, respectively, access for any unpaid subscriptions will be suspended and a $25 late fee will be assessed per subscriber. Reinstating subscribers are not eligible for any proration or waiver of subscription fees.

Crexi Commercial Data Listing Fees are not refundable

Tax and PAC Disclosure

Donations to the MetroTex REALTORS Relief Foundation are 100% tax-deductible.

The following amounts for certain lobbying and political expenditures are not deductible for income tax purposes: 35% of NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) dues or $55, 13% of Texas REALTORS® dues or $15, 0% of local association dues, and the $30 assessment by Texas REALTORS® for the Issues Mobilization/Political Advocacy Fund (IMPAF) are all not deductible. The remaining dues and assessment are not tax deductible as charitable contributions but may be tax deductible under other provisions of the Internal Revenue Code

Contributions to the Texas REALTORS® Political Action Committee (TREPAC), the Texas Association of REALTORS® Federal Political Action Committee (TAR FedPAC), and the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions to the TREPAC, TAR FedPAC, and RPAC are voluntary and may be used for political purposes. The amount indicated is merely a guideline, and you may contribute more or less than the suggested amount. The Association will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amount of their contribution, and you may refuse to contribute without reprisal by the Association. Your contribution is split between TREPAC and TAR FedPAC.

Contact the Texas REALTORS® TREPAC administrator at (800) 873-9155 for information about the percentages of your contribution provided to TREPAC and to TAR FedPAC. The TAR FedPAC portion is used to support federal candidates—via contributions by TAR FedPAC to RPAC—and is charged against your limits under 52 U.S.C. 30116.

An Unreported Licensee is a licensed agent who has not joined any REALTOR® association to which their sponsoring broker belongs. Under the Constitution and Bylaws of the National Association of REALTORS®, Inc., if you, or a broker in your firm, hold the license of a non-member agent, you are required to pay the Association dues on that licensee’s behalf (Article II, Section 1(a).

How Can You Satisfy the Unreported Licensee Requirement?
You can meet this requirement by completing one of the following actions:

1. Become a MetroTex REALTOR®
   Have the Unreported Licensee join the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Inc. as a REALTOR® member.
2. Pay the Unreported Licensee invoice
   An invoice for each non-member licensee under your sponsorship will appear on your account. To remain compliant, the invoice must be paid by its due date.
   Note: Paying the invoice does not make the Unreported Licensee a member of the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®
3. Terminate the License Sponsorship
   Return the sponsored license to TREC for termination and provide documentation of the termination to MetroTex Association of REALTORS® with through one of the following methods:
   • • A dated-stamped termination form from TREC
     • Email verification from TREC
     • Front and back copy of the signed and dated license stamped by TREC
4. Provide Proof of Membership in another REALTOR® Association
   If the Unreported Licensee(s) holds membership in another REALTOR® association in Texas, you may provide a Letter of Good Standing from that association.

If services are terminated due to unresolved Unreported Licensee(s), a $300 reinstatement fee will apply.

I understand that unless otherwise specified, all dues, subscription fees, and/or application fees paid are nonrefundable.

If applying as a REALTOR® member, I agree to attend the New Member Orientation and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics training within 60 days of application. I understand that failure to meet these requirements may result in membership inactivation and suspension of services until completion of the required courses.

I acknowledge that I have access to a copy of the Bylaws and Policies of MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Texas REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS® as well as the NAR Code of Ethics. I further agree to familiarize myself with and abide by the Bylaws and Policies of the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Texas REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS®.I will comply with the NAR Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual as amended from time to time, including the obligation to arbitrate any dispute or controversy arising between me and one or more members in accordance with the rules and regulations governing such arbitration, in effect at the time. I also understand that I will be required to complete periodic Code of Ethics and Fair Housing trainings as specified in the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®’ Bylaws as a continued condition of membership. I authorize MetroTex and any of its representatives to verify the information I have provided herein.

If applying for MetroTex MLS services, I agree to familiarize myself with and comply with the North Texas Real Estate Information Systems, Inc. Multiple Listing Service Bylaws and Rules and Regulations, as amended from time to time.

If applying for MetroTex Key Services, I agree to familiarize myself and comply with the MetroTex Key Services, Inc. Rules and Regulations, as amended from time to time.

I hereby certify that all information furnished by me is true and accurate, and I understand that failure to provide complete and accurate information or any misstatement of fact, may result in revocation of my membership. I further agree to pay all required fees and dues as established by the Association.

I acknowledge that membership is based on a calendar year. Payments to the MetroTex Association of REALTORS® including TREPAC contributions are non-refundable and not deductible as charitable contributions, though they may qualify as a business expense.

Note: Federal tax law requires exclusion of the lobbying portion of dues when claiming them as a business expense. TREPAC contributions are voluntary and non-deductible.

I hereby consent to MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Texas REALTORS®, and National Association of REALTORS® publishing my name, company name, business address, company phone and fax number on their respective websites. (No personal information is published). I also consent to keeping my membership information up to date including, but not limited to, email address, cell phone number, residence and business address changes.

I hereby consent that the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Texas REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®, MetroTex MLS, MetroTex Key Services, Inc. MetroTex Commercial Data Exchange, Inc. and their subsidiaries or related parties, if any, may contact me using any communication method I provide and this consent continues if I update my contact information in the future.

MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Inc., North Texas Real Estate Information Network Inc. (MetroTex MLS), MetroTex Key Services, Inc., and/or MetroTex Commercial Data Exchange, Inc. may amend this Agreement at any time without prior notice by posting updates or changes to MyMetroTex.com. I understand that my continued use of or access to services provided by MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Inc., North Texas Real Estate Information Network Inc. (MLS), MetroTex Key Services, Inc., and/or MetroTex Commercial Data Exchange, Inc.
constitutes acceptance of any posted changes.
