Help Make Home Safer for Local Heroes
Three hours of your time can help make a difference close to home.
Join Rebuilding Together North Texas on Wednesday, October 14, for Rebuilding for HEROES, a volunteer workday in Dallas. With morning and afternoon shifts available, there are two opportunities to roll up your sleeves and help a neighbor.

Giving Back to Those Who Serve
Rebuilding for HEROES provides home repairs and accessibility modifications at no cost to eligible veterans, surviving spouses, first responders, teachers and healthcare workers. The goal is to help those who have served others live in safer, more accessible homes.
For MetroTex members, it’s an opportunity to support something central to our profession: a safe place to call home.
No Construction Experience Needed
Rebuilding Together welcomes volunteers of all skill levels, with experienced house captains guiding beginners. Tasks vary by project and may include painting, yard work and general cleanup alongside home repairs. Tools and supplies are provided.
Bring your willingness to help, wear sturdy shoes with closed toes and heels, and dress for the weather. A reusable water bottle is also recommended.
