Maybe you’re the person who brings people together, volunteers when help is needed or asks, “How could we make this better?” Those instincts are a starting point for leadership. TRLP helps you build on them.
MetroTex is now accepting applications for the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program (TRLP) Class of 2027, a leadership development experience grounded in service, integrity and community.
Build Skills You Can Put to Work
Leading a group means listening to different perspectives, working through disagreements and helping people move from an idea to action. TRLP gives you opportunities to practice those skills alongside peers who share your commitment to making a difference.
Through expert speakers, group discussions, leadership exercises and a collaborative class project, you’ll work on how to:
- Speak with purpose. Strengthen your communication and public speaking skills so you can contribute in meetings, conversations and advocacy efforts.
- Bring people together. Learn to work across different personalities and perspectives toward a shared goal.
- Understand how decisions happen. Explore governance, advocacy and the role REALTORS® play in their associations and communities.
- Turn ideas into action. Put your learning to work through a class project that calls for planning, teamwork and follow-through.
Along the way, you’ll build relationships with peers you can learn from, collaborate with and turn to as you take on new responsibilities.

TRLP welcomes applications from active MetroTex REALTOR® and Affiliate members with a history of community involvement, industry service, volunteerism or leadership.
Think about where you’d like to contribute next. An association leadership role? A local board or commission? A community initiative you care about? TRLP helps you prepare for that work.
