Welcome to Texas! Where Global Real Estate Meets Big Opportunity

This November,

MetroTex proudly welcomes our partners from the Netherlands for an immersive inbound trade mission designed to bridge global real estate markets, share strategic insights, and explore international investment opportunities.

Our focus is simple: connect people and ideas. Bringing Dutch delegates together with Texas REALTORS®, developers, and investors; showcasing standout residential and commercial projects across the metroplex; sparking long-term collaborations; and deepening our Ambassador Association partnership with NVM.

Why the Netherlands-North Texas Trade Mission?

MetroTex was selected by NAR as the U.S. Ambassador Association to NVM—the Netherlands’ 125-year real estate organization. This trade mission deepens that partnership and turns it into real opportunity.

It opens new investment channels between the Netherlands and North Texas and expands market intelligence on planning, sustainability, and housing. Most importantly, it seeds ongoing collaboration—referrals, joint ventures, and knowledge exchange—across commercial, residential, and mixed-use real estate.

What is the purpose of this trade mission?

To connect people and ideas. We’re building a bridge between the Netherlands and Texas—opening investment channels, sharing market know-how, and sparking collaborations that last.

Who is invited to attend?

Delegates from NVM (the Dutch Association of Real Estate Brokers), members of the MetroTex Global Business Council, Texas REALTORS®, developers, and select U.S. real estate professionals.

What’s included in the program?

A curated, multi-day experience: market briefings, guided site tours, matchmaking meetings, high-level networking, and a taste of Texas culture.

Why was Dallas-Fort Worth chosen as the host market?

DFW is one of America’s fastest-growing regions. It’s home to major corporate HQs, a deep development pipeline, strong housing demand, and a world-class international airport that keeps global business moving.

What are the benefits for Dutch real estate professionals?

  • See how U.S. real estate operates at scale—residential, commercial, and mixed-use.
  • Build relationships with brokers, developers, and investors across North Texas.
  • Learn practical ways to attract U.S. capital and partnerships in Europe.
  • Expand your global network and visibility.

Will translation or language assistance be provided?

Yes. Bilingual support and materials will be made available throughout the mission to ensure a smooth, engaging experience for Dutch delegates.

What is the expected dress code?

Business professional for all formal events and meetings. Casual wear is fine for evening outings. Western attire is optional (but fun) for the Fort Worth Stockyards event.

What expenses are covered?

Most on-site costs such as local transportation, group meals, and program materials are covered. Delegates are responsible for booking and covering their own airfare and hotel accommodations.

How will this benefit my long-term business?

You will return with strategic insights, new market opportunities, and connections that can increase cross-border business, listings, and investor relationships for years to come.
