How to: Get an eKey Authorization Code

Let’s set the scene; You’ve just purchased a new cell phone, it’s Saturday and you have a showing appointment in an hour.
You attempt to set up the eKey app on your new phone and….wait……what…..I NEED AN AUTHORIZATION CODE?
But MetroTex is closed!
Now what?

You have a few options available to you so you don’t need to wait on us!!

You can go online to www.SupraeKeycom. Then in the upper right corner, choose SupraWeb.

Enter your login ID and Password. If you have not registered for SupraWeb, click on Register and step through that process. It only takes a few minutes!

Once you are logged into SupraWeb; you have a few options available to you. One is “Authorization Code”:

You will be given a 10 digit authorization code and a 30 digit authorization code that you will enter into the App to Authorize your key. (You only use the 30 digit authorization code for older phones! You just got a HIP new phone, so you will use the 10 digit code!) This same one-time authorization code will be emailed to you as a backup!
