Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Blood is essential for patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatments, managing chronic illnesses, and recovering from traumatic injuries. This lifesaving care starts with one generous donation.
MetroTex Blood Drive:
Join us at MetroTex Headquarters on Thursday, June 13, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm to help Carter BloodCare save lives throughout North Texas. There are limited donor spots available, so schedule your appointment today!
On the Day of the Event:
- Present your photo ID.
- Complete your health/eligibility questionnaire.
- Allow 45 minutes to an hour for the donation process.
- Eat a good meal, stay hydrated, and get a good night’s sleep the night before.
All Blood Types Needed:
- O negative is especially crucial. As the universal blood type, it can treat any patient in critical need, regardless of their individual type. It is also the only blood type used for treating premature and unborn babies.
