MetroTex Offices to Remain Closed for Now
We’re Still Fully Staffed and Helping Members Remotely
On Monday, Gov. Greg Abbott announced that select businesses in Texas could begin operating at a limited capacity as part of “Phase I” of “Reopening Texas.” Unfortunately, associations aren’t included in the list of businesses allowed to start re-opening beginning this Friday.
As a result, MetroTex offices will remain closed to the public, and our staff per the Executive Order until at least May 18. MetroTex staff looks forward to continuing to meet member needs while maintaining safety protocols. As indicated in our first announcement about office closures, we are STILL here for you!
During regular work hours, we are available via phone, email, conference call and virtual meetings. We have boosted our live broadcast class options and have nearly 75 courses available in May. MetroTex will continue to monitor the Governor’s Orders and take steps to reopen our offices accordingly. An announcement is scheduled on or before May 18.
Your patience is appreciated during this time as we continue serving you in this “new normal.” Each and every staff member is doing their best to support you and provide a terrific member experience. Please contact us for anything you may need. We WILL get through this together!
