The MetroTex Association of REALTORS® is pleased to announce the hiring of Matthew Church as its new Government Affairs Director.
“Matthew brings years of experience within the REALTOR® family to MetroTex,” said Janet Kane, MetroTex CEO. “We couldn’t be happier to welcome a government affairs professional with his qualifications.”
Before MetroTex, Church worked as the Government Affairs Director for the Greater Ft. Worth Association of REALTORS®. He has also worked as a Government Relations Specialist for the National Pawnbrokers Association and as a North Texas Field Representative for the Texas Association of REALTORS®.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the MetroTex team,” said Church. “It’s a great opportunity to use my experience and further advance an already successful organization.”
Born in Indiana, Church pursued his Undergraduate degree in Communication Studies at the University of Kansas. He spent time as a Trader in the Chicago Board of Trade then moved to Texas where he earned his MBA from Texas Tech.
Church replaced Romeo Arrieta, who took the position of Chief Executive Officer for the Marin Association of REALTORS® in San Rafael, CA.
