EPA Training & Certification are required if your property management company performs any activity that disturbs paint in pre-1978 housing and child-occupied facilities. This webinar, lead by Mike Adams and Stan Lancaster of the EPA Region 6 Office in Dallas, will give you the information you need to know related to this training and certification and why this is important for your property management business.

About the Speakers:

Mike Adams – U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 6 office in Dallas, TX which covers Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and 66 recognized federal tribes.

Mike has served as the Lead Based Paint Coordinator for the last 8 years, and has worked in the program for 17 years. Mike’s focus is on outreach and education to the public on the EPA’s Lead Based Paint Regulations.

Stan Lancaster – U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 6 office in Dallas, TX. Stan began his career as an enforcement officer for the State of Oklahoma (ODEQ). For the past 26 years he has worked for EPA R6. Stan has had a variety of responsibilities including water quality modeler, Air Quality inspector, EPCRA 313 Enforcement, RCRA and most recently as an Inspector / Enforcement Officer for Lead Based Paint program. Stan’s current focus is Compliance Assistance and Enforcement of Section 1018 (Disclosure Rule) and the Renovate Repair and Paint (RRP) Rule.
