MetroTex Strengthens International Real Estate Connections

MetroTex Association of REALTORS® has strengthened its international presence by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Manitoba Real Estate Association (MREA). David Powell, Global Council Chair at MREA, and Sharon von Schoenberg, Associate Director of Global & Commercial Programs at the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), attended the signing at MetroTex Headquarters on May 21.

This MOU underscores the commitment of both associations to foster a mutually beneficial relationship for their members. MetroTex also plans to sign MOUs with the Canadian Real Estate Association, the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals, and the Panamanian Association of Real Estate Brokers and Promoters later this year. These collaborations aim to facilitate dialogue and cooperation among international real estate professionals, promoting the exchange of market insights, real estate protocols, and information on licensing and foreign investment regulations.

Currently, MetroTex boasts partnerships with associations spanning multiple countries. “MetroTex is privileged to establish alliances with like-minded organizations, furthering our collective objective of extending international business opportunities to all our members,” stated MetroTex President Ashley Gentry. “We eagerly anticipate broadening our global footprint and strengthening our ties with existing partners.”
